Sales Director, EIQ Healthcare – Key Focus and Responsibilities
The Sales Director role at EIQ Healthcare is centred on driving revenue by building strong relationships with healthcare clients (pharmaceuticals, medical device manufacturers, healthcare service providers) and delivering strategic, impactful media solutions.
Key Focus Areas
Sales Strategy Support: Develop and provide strategic guidance and sales tools to empower the sales team, helping to identify growth opportunities, refine pitches, and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
Consultative Sales Strategy: Use a needs-based approach to understand client goals and propose solutions across digital media, sponsored content, events, and custom research.
Revenue Generation: Achieve revenue targets through new business acquisition and existing client growth, focusing on upselling, renewals, and long-term client engagement.
Integrated Media Campaigns: Design and pitch cross-platform campaigns combining digital advertising, event sponsorships, webinars, e-learning, and print tailored to the healthcare sector.
Industry Expertise & Compliance: Stay current on healthcare trends and regulations to offer compliant, effective marketing solutions.
Team Collaboration: Partner with editorial, marketing, production, and analytics teams to ensure client campaigns align with both client goals and internal standards.
Pipeline Management & Forecasting: Use CRM tools to manage sales pipelines, accurately forecast revenue, and report sales metrics.
Networking & Client Relations: Represent the company at industry events to meet clients, prospect, and strengthen industry presence.
Core Responsibilities
Apply consultative selling to connect with CMOs, Marketing Managers, product managers and agency leaders, offering tailored marketing solutions.
Develop, present, and close strategic media programs (digital, event sponsorships, custom media, research).
Ensure smooth execution and follow-through on closed deals, prioritising client success and opportunities for renewal.
Regularly forecast revenue, track pipeline development, and report in CRM to meet sales goals.
Conduct in-person and virtual sales calls, demonstrating professionalism and industry insight.
Meet or exceed annual sales targets while uncovering new business and growing existing accounts.
Continuously update knowledge of client, company, and industry developments.
Job requirements
Experience: 8+ years in a healthcare B2B sales or agency, particularly in digital and event-focused media solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English and French is a mandatory requirement
Sales Record: Proven success in exceeding sales targets, managing complex accounts, and executing cross-platform, consultative selling.
Skills: Organised, strong communicator, proficient in CRM (Launchpad preferred), adaptable to diverse clients.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 30%.
