Job title: Sales Manager – Tech

Location: Midwest or Northeast

We are looking for an experienced Tech Sales Manager to sell strategic, customized marketing programs to retail technology companies. Assets include a mixture of advertising, digital products, custom media, thought leadership, lead generation and webinars

 

Role responsibilities:

  • Sell strategic, customized marketing programs to retail technology companies
  • Take a consultative sales approach, with custom programs designed to meet clients’ needs
  • Create annual and monthly projections
  • Make personal sales calls at clients’ and prospects’ offices
  • Travel to trade shows to meet with clients and prospects
  • Track competitive media advertising
  • Create proposals for clients and prospects
  • Call and email clients and prospects daily to close business
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience. Information systems or advertising sales experience a plus.
  • Exceptional track record for exceeding sales targets and managing complex and demanding client relationships.
  • A demonstrable track record for strategic, consultative selling with cross-platform experience.
  • Ability to sell immediate and long-term programs.
  • Highly organized and able to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience. Information systems or advertising sales experience a plus.
  • Exceptional track record for exceeding sales targets and managing complex and demanding client relationships.
  • A demonstrable track record for strategic, consultative selling with cross-platform experience.
  • Ability to sell immediate and long-term programs.
  • Highly organized and able to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Must have creative, compelling and persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to modify and use
  • PowerPoint presentations.
  • Comfortable with using on-line CRM program.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Travel 20%+
