Marketing Coordinator - Bilingual

About the job:

Partner with Marketing Manager and Brand Directors to help execute core marketing tasks and/or traffic requests to appropriate team members / freelancers. Key deliverables will include brand—specific marketing collateral, planned and ad-hoc sales collateral for brands and events, as well as special requests.

  • Co-create and track brand and events marketing campaigns calendar

  • Collaborate with internal art team to develop marketing material creative briefs and produce brand marketing collateral through to execution for brand digital, print, social email platforms (media kits, sales sheet, editorial promo, webinar)

  • Create brand house ads, email templates and social media brand assets for editorial/sales promos and execute campaign deployments

  • Help traffic requests and manage project management schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery

Events

  • Co-create all event marketing material and track event marketing campaigns

  • Collaborate with editors to build awards nomination form and provide nomination reports to editor/brand director

  • Build event registration page, website and manage website updates and reports through event life cycle

  • Align with Brand Directors to develop and produce event marketing collateral and execute campaign action items through digital, print, social and email platforms (brochures, print/web/social ads, sponsorship deck, show directory, post-show report, promo videos)

  • Track/execute all event sponsorship deliverable items related to marketing

  • Partner with audience development team to build mailing lists and organize plan for execution

  • Create event/award email schedule, email templates and execute campaign deployments

  • Book and brief photographer/videographer, serve as a point of contact onsite and facilitate post-show sizzle creation

  • Support event team onsite (registration, troubleshooting, room monitor briefing)

  • Execute onsite social media plan and other marketing activations

  • Create/manage discount codes for sales and marketing initiatives

  • Create exit survey and export survey results

  • Consolidate post-event registration, session feedback and marketing campaign report


Job requirements


  • Marketing degree or equivalent

  • 2+ years marketing experience

  • Strong copywriting skills

  • Bilingual English/French required

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize

  • Experience developing and implementing marketing plan and managing projects

  • Excellent PowerPoint skills required; Photoshop and/or InDesign skills highly desired

  • Proficiency in digital media and online analytics

  • Experience in media industry with retail markets preferred

  • Need to be a self-starter and have the ability to work within tight timelines.

  • Attention to detail and project management are a must.

  • Ability to multitask, work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

  • Great attitude and flexibility required to work in a fast-paced environment.
