EnsembleIQ is looking for an innovative senior leader with extensive experience in B2B publishing, including; digital media, print, events and analytics. This key role calls for an ambitious, hardworking, talented individual who will have overall responsibility for the business growth of our key industry brands in grocery, drugstore and convenience.

 

Job Responsibilities

Executive Group Publisher as Champion: In simplest terms, the executive group publisher is the senior leader that champions the high-level strategy and industry partnerships for the brand products. The EGP lives and breathes the brand image, message and promise and ensures all brands are engaged with all parts of the organization, from marketing and advertising, to finance, and content.

 

Executive Group Publisher as Innovator: The executive group publisher must analyze brand position and create performance metrics, modify structure and align strategy to the larger organization and mentor innovation on current brands in the portfolio. In addition, the EGP with identify new opportunities and develop and launch new brand extensions or cross-brand products.

 

Executive Group Publisher as Motivator: The executive group publisher officer must manage and mentor the brand leaders throughout the organization, provide regular feedback, create performance objectives, and ensure financial goals are met. The EGP will facilitate collaboration between brands and mentor leaders in content and sales to continue to innovate their businesses to align with changing market conditions.

 

Executive Group Publisher as Partner, Mediator and Negotiator: The executive group publisher must work to align initiatives and strategies throughout the organization with the overall company vision.

 

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in B2B media in a senior level role, VP or higher
  • Experience in change management and demonstrated success in rebuilding brands
  • Management of P&L and financial reporting experience
  • Strong experience in all media: digital, print, analytics, and events
  • Proven track record of people development and succession planning.
  • A strong focus on revenue growth with clear history of achieving revenue targets
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate process improvement and productivity enhancements with cross functional teams.
  • Ability to connect audience and content strategy with growth objectives
  • Proven ability to lead teams and improve performance
