About the Role: You’ll serve as the Editor of Special Projects for Consumer Goods Technology (CGT) and Retail Info Systems (RIS), two digital brands that work closely together to supply news and insights for retail and consumer goods executives.
You’ll be responsible for managing and executing strategic and sponsored content, as well as editorial content as needed. Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief and a member of the editorial team, you’ll collaborate with sponsors and the EnsembleIQ marketing, design, events, and digital operations teams to develop content that serves the CGT and RIS audiences and fulfills sponsor goals.
Develop, write, and edit content for sponsored projects, including webinars, infographics, fireside chats, special reports, roadmaps, targeted research, and client Q&As.
Serve as point of contact for content during client calls; must bring a high level of professionalism
Help research and secure speakers for webinars
Write and optimize promotional copy, including pre-and post-event coverage of internal events
Create webinar decks and develop questions for speakers
Support brands' awards programs, including optimization and outreach
At least 3+ years B2B or B2C digital editorial content management experience
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent training
Experience with moderating/hosting webinars and/or virtual events
Excellent presentation, writing, proofreading and interpersonal communication skills
Proven ability to create and visually package compelling and engaging multimedia content
Knowledge of and experience in retail and consumer goods technology and the solution providers serving that space is a plus
