Key Responsibilities:
Routine Billing - Completion of the monthly billing cycle and/or Revenue Recognition.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy
Special Billing - Creation and verification of supporting documentation of the invoice for both internal and customer needs
Ensure that all billing calculations are correct before sending invoices to customers.
Ensure the billing is being directed to the correct contact before distribution
Resolve any billing issues
Answer customer inquiries related to invoices
Understand the requirements and motions of uploading invoices into a Customers Accounting Portal.
Understand the importance of transaction date and an Accounting Period.
Ad Hoc projects
Reconcile billing records
Produces and maintain monthly reports for management
High School diploma required. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered when education is directly related to the functions of the job
1-3 years previous billing experience or comparable experience required
Must be technically proficient.
MS Word, Excel, Google Sheets proficiency required
Excellent math aptitude and understanding of general accounting principles
Highly professional approach to responding to requests and demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
Excellent attention to detail, developed organizational skill, and excellent follow up skills
Strong writing, speaking, and customer service skills are needed
Strong use of judgment and interpersonal skills
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to prioritize responsibilities/tasks
Demonstrated self-starter with the desire to show ownership and commitment to the job
Must have a can-do attitude and willingness to work harmoniously and effectively independently as a team member
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
