About the Role: Do you have previous event registration experience? Can you speak both English and French? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you! We are searching for an articulate, creative, solution-driven individual to join our team as a Bilingual Registration Specialist.

At EnsembleIQ, we provide valuable and timely information to industry professionals through trade events, leading business-to-business magazines, and electronic newsletters. Professionals use this information to grow their businesses, make better decisions about methods and equipment, and increase value to their firms.

Key Responsibilities: As a Bilingual Registration Specialist, your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Ensure to provide excellent

    customer service through various channels (phone, email) in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Develop and maintain in-depth event knowledge of the brands and events.

  • Answers incoming customer inquiries regarding registration, event information, nomination information and general event questions and concerns.

  • Work closely with Events and Marketing Directors to build & maintain event/nomination reports

  • Provide ongoing customer support for all Canadian events

  • Learn the software systems (specifically Swoogo) to be able to own & manage event registration/nomination submissions

  • Acting as a liaison between 3rd party telemarketers and internal departments

  • Provide project support to other team members and departments as needed

Job requirements

  • Travel required to 7 events in the fall (Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto) 

  • Ability and eagerness to self-start and learn new programs

  • Bilingual: French and English is a must

  • Knowledge of Swoogo (registration database) and Google Workspace

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative

  • Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal

  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask

  • Strong ability to problem solve
