About the role:
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our sales team. The ideal candidate is a true self-starter who is intuitive and conscientious. Successful candidate should have a “cold call sales” mentality and is successful at sales prospecting, lead generation and executing extensive outreach via email and phone call follow-ups and in-person via trade and networking events. Someone who has sales experience selling to large consumer packaged goods manufacturers. We are looking for an organized, positive performer with a can do attitude.
Account Manager focused on business growth, working with existing and prospective customers
Identify sales leads and primary points of contact with persistence and creativity
Serve as primary contact during post-sales, facilitating strong client relationships
Collaborate with editorial, marketing and digital internal teams and innovative companies and brands in day-to-day campaign maintenance to consistently deliver quality results to clients
Accurately forecasts and projects monthly and quarterly revenue, with a keen eye on pipeline development to achieve sales goals
Conducts productive sales calls with clients - in-person, via video or on conference calls
Attends industry trade events to meet clients and prospect for new business - serving as company ambassador, exuding a high level of professionalism and industry knowledge
Meets/exceeds annual sales goals; Forecasts churn, uncovers new business, and grows existing client business
Performs as a team player on internal calls across events, editorial and marketing
